I bought guest peanut butter!
As that may sound like a weird title, my brother gets here tomorrow to stay for the summer, and I've been trying to prepare for his arrival. I am huge peanut butter eater, and I tend to eat it straight off the spoon out of the jar (and I probably double dip).
One of my favorite memories was when Jamie J came down from Alaska and came over to visit with our dearest Hannie. Jamie is a peanut butter spooner like myself and we just ate it straight from the jar. However, there is nothing that grosses Hannie out more than 1. people sharing food and 2. peanut butter off a spoon. So, in honor of my brother coming to visit and the thought of not grossing Hannie out, I've decided to have a guest peanut butter jar. This is a big step for me, considering someone else when it comes to my favorite food. But, it also is probably more sanitary and will be nice for visitors.
I do have to say, I still have my jars (yes jars! whipped, creamy, and extra crunchy) that I eat straight out of. While I will have one for other people, my jars for spooning are still there and shall be enjoyed daily as usual.
